Your business. Your boundaries.

A considered approach
to sharing data.

A valuable dataset starts with a clear understanding of what can be shared, who can authorize it and how it can be used. Those details belong in a scoped agreement.

Start with a description.

The assessment collects company and contact details and a high-level description of your records. It does not request uploads, account connections or credentials. Submitting it does not grant data rights or trigger delivery to an AI lab.

Review the rights and exclusions.

Before a sample or dataset is shared, identify the company’s authority to license it, any client or third-party restrictions, and any records that should be excluded. Flag sensitive or regulated material early so it can be reviewed.

Agree the preparation and use.

For a potential deal, agree the dataset scope, permitted uses, recipient conditions, redaction or de-identification requirements, delivery method and retention obligations. These are deal-specific requirements, rather than a blanket promise about every dataset.

Put the commercial terms in writing.

Review ownership, exclusivity, price, acceptance criteria and payment milestones before committing. An assessment or discussion is not a purchase offer.
